How Doorstep Return Pickup Works · Baldwin County | Bettr

How It Works

Four steps. Only one is yours.

Schedule a pickup, hand us your return, and we handle the rest — from your door to the carrier or store. Here's exactly what happens.

"Bettr exists because every household has the same chair, the same counter, the same backseat — full of stuff that needs to go somewhere else, and not enough hours in the day to take it there."
Brant
Founder, Bettr Returns

How It Works

From your door to done.

Works the same whether you're shipping something back online or returning it to a store.

Book Your Pickup

Choose your plan, enter your address, and select a pickup window. Takes about two minutes. You'll get a confirmation text with your details.

We Come to You

We arrive at your door at the scheduled time. No waiting, no guessing.

We Drop It Off

We take your return to the carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS, Amazon) or directly to the store — wherever it needs to go. You'll get a text when it's been dropped off.

Your Refund Processes Normally

Once the carrier or store receives your return, the retailer processes your refund on their timeline — typically 3–10 business days depending on where you bought it.

Every kind of return, covered.

What to Expect

Here's what the full experience looks like, start to finish.

After I book

You'll get a confirmation text with your pickup window, plan details, and a summary of your return. If anything looks off, reply to that text.

Day of pickup

You'll get a text when we're on the way. We'll arrive within your selected window, do a quick check of the item at the door, and head out. The whole interaction is typically under two minutes.

After drop-off

You'll get a text confirmation once your return has been handed to the carrier or store. Keep this — it's your record that the return was initiated.

When will I get my refund?

That's up to the retailer, not us. Most process refunds within 3–10 business days of receiving the item. Amazon tends to be faster. Check your retailer's return policy for their specific timeline.
