The Bettr Guarantee
When you hand us your return, you're trusting us with money that's yours. We take that seriously — and we back it up.
What's Covered
From the moment we pick it up to the second it's in the carrier's hands.
Items lost while in Bettr Returns' custody, from pickup to carrier drop-off
Items damaged in transit between your door and the carrier location
Coverage up to the full original purchase price of the item
All plans — Solo and Stack pickups are both covered equally
We photograph items at pickup for documentation purposes. This protects you and us — if there's ever a question about condition, we have a record.
Items already damaged before pickup — we'll note condition at the door and let you know
Items lost or damaged after we hand off to the carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.) — that's on them, and their insurance applies
Returns rejected by the retailer for reasons unrelated to our handling (e.g., expired return window, missing tags)
Items not disclosed at booking — we need to know what we're carrying to cover it
What Isn't Covered.
We're straight with you about where our responsibility ends.
Why we offer this
Bettr Returns is a one-person operation in Baldwin County. When you hand me a package, you're trusting a person — not a corporate policy. The guarantee exists because it has to. Without it, asking someone to trust a new service with their returns is a big ask.
I don't expect claims to be common. But I want you to book knowing that if something goes wrong on my end, you're not stuck absorbing that cost. That's the deal.
